As such, reading and discussing papers makes up a large portion of this course. Students are expected to have read the papers before class and come prepared to discuss. To facilitate this, paper reviews are expected to be turned in **by 11:59pm the day before class**. Review Format ======================================================================================== Your paper review should include the following: - A short (3-4 sentence) summary of the paper. What problem is being solved? What is the main idea or insight of the solution? - A list of strengths and weaknesses you find with the paper. What are the advantages and/or drawbacks of their approach? - Any questions you have about this paper. Is anything unclear? - Any other comments you have about the paper. Review Grading ======================================================================================== **You are allowed to miss two (2) paper reviews,** no questions asked. Reviews missed beyond those two reviews will receive no credit. Late reviews count towards this metric.
