There would seem to be a strong correlation between those who have added their name to the list and the departments they hail from. Inspect the list of signatories to find such a correlation, attending particularly to your own disciplinary affiliation (for most students in this class: computer science or some flavor of engineering). What do you find? Discuss, in concrete terms, what sociological reasons might help to explain what you observe.
